An Orange County man died yesterday afternoon after an incident on Route 59 in West Nyack by the West Nyack Fire Department substation near Palisades Center. Clarkstown Police say 57 year-old Richard Croll was unconscious in a dump truck that had live, downed power lines laying across it. The power was cut so police and EMS could attend to him. Commenters on Facebook, where Ramapo supervisor Michael Specht made the announcement early yesterday morning of Tisi’s passing, suggested naming the Challenger Center or something at town hall, the ballpark or one of the town parks after him.
