With 18 confirmed cases, Rockland’s county executive declared a State of Emergency yesterday that is expected to last through April 15th, though it could be extended. Ed Day says there are four orders attached to the State of Emergency, including the closing of the public school districts for the next two weeks starting today, with private schools doing the same tomorrow, and that includes daycare, preschool and pre-kindergarten. Day says colleges will need to suspend classes, but the students will still have access to their dorms and dining halls. There’s also a no-hoarding component, which limits the purchase of certain products to two items, per household, per day…
