West Nyack Project Gets Over $1 Million in State and Federal Grants

Phase three of a three-part community infrastructure project in West Nyack got a financial boost from federal and state grants. Clarkstown supervisor George Hoehmann says parts one and two covered the Klein Avenue Levee Improvement Project and improvements to a park across from the West Nyack post office…

Rockland Congressman Mondaire Jones secured $1 million in federal infrastructure funding for the project…

Rockland State Senator Elijah Reichlin-Melnick chipped in $180,000 in state funding to improve walkability and pedestrian safety…

Part three of the project should get started next June.
