A West Haverstraw man was acquitted of murder last week after several days of deliberation by a Rockland County jury, but the panel deadlocked on several other charges. That’s according to The Journal News. 29 year-old Darin Peterson was accused of stabbing two men at the Oiso Restaurant in Blauvelt two years ago. 30 year-old Caneggio Grant of Nanuet, died of his injuries at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla. A re-trial on manslaughter and other charges could proceed next month.
