Ten projects have been given the green light by the state as part of a ten million dollar project to revitalize the village of Haverstraw. Rockland Business Association CEO Al Samuels says the projects around the village will do wonders for the area…
Money will also help fund the creation of a new public trail, a shelter at the base of the New York Waterway Ferry Dock, and the revitalization of 49 West Broad Street into a new, five-story, mixed-use development with around 55 residential units, a café, and community space. The Village of Haverstraw won the economic development grant last year from the state’s Downtown Revitalization Initiative. Renderings of the projects are available here.
