TZB Bike-Pedestrian Path to Officially Open Today

June 15, 2020 by helpdesk1

The bike-pedestrian path in South Nyack that connects to Tarrytown over the new Tappan Zee Bridge will officially open later today. South Nyack mayor Bonnie Christian confirmed it would happen today, after governor Andrew Cuomo was coy when asked about it by a reporter yesterday at his daily press briefing in Albany…

The path, which was scheduled to open last spring, is on the northern side of the Rockland-bound span of the bridge. Today would have been the 88th birthday of former governor Mario Cuomo, for whom the bridge is officially named.
