Two more states—Alaska and Montana—have been added to New York State’s COVID-19 travel advisory list. None was removed. There are now 33 states and territories on the list.
New York launched an online “absentee ballot portal” where voters can request an absentee ballot for the November 3rd election. Any voter concerned about potential exposure to COVID can get an absentee ballot through the portal. Just head to the website https://absenteeballot.elections.ny.gov. COVID-19 by the numbers now, here in Rockland, we’ve got two in the hospital being examined, another four have been confirmed with coronavirus. The state says we’ve got 14,271 reported cases, 16 more than yesterday, and the Rockland Health Department confirms 674 fatalities here in the county, no change since Tuesday more than five weeks ago.
