Two Pearl River-based Pfizer employees were presented with keys to the County in a ceremony Friday for their work in developing the COVID-19 vaccine. Rockland County Executive Ed Day says it’s hard to forget when COVID first hit, how it spread like wild-fire…
Honored at the ceremony held at Pfizer’s Vaccine Research and Development Headquarters in Pearl River, were Kathrin Jansen, Senior VP and Head of Vaccine Research & Development, and Steve Bjornson, VP and C-O-O of Vaccine Research & Development. They laid the groundwork for a 650-person team at Pfizer, which worked around the clock, to develop the very first vaccine granted emergency use authorization by the FDA.
