Two events are being held in Rockland to honor the six million Jews killed during the Holocaust. Tonight at 6pm in New City the Holocaust Museum & Center for Tolerance and Education is hosting Yom HaShoah, a community-wide commemoration featuring keynote speaker, Elie Honig, CNN’s Chief Legal Analyst. For security reasons the precise location is not being divulged unless you register for the event. A second event is being held tomorrow afternoon at 2pm at the Rockland County Courthouse in the Jurors Room. The “Cornerstones of Democracy” features Keynote Speaker Judge Joan Lefkowitz, of the State Supreme Court’s 9th Judicial District.
