Troublesome North Rockland Traffic Light to be Fixed

October 30, 2019 by helpdesk1

North Rockland’s town supervisors are working to get a troublesome traffic light that they share, fixed. The light at the Willow Grove Road intersection with Letchworth Village Road and Patriot Hills Lane has not been functioning correctly for about a week. Stony Point supervisor Jim Monaghan says that he and Haverstraw’s supervisor Howard Phillips are in the process of getting it repaired…

The company that repairs it says the model is old and needs a new controller box. Currently the intersection has a four-way red light stop. Monaghan says the two towns will be sharing the cost of the repairs.
