The Tilcon quarry reclamation project in the town of Stony Point is moving along, slowly. Supervisor Jim Monaghan says the sale of the land in Tompkins Cove, which would be filled with recycled materials collected by the company “Hudson River Resources” and be maintained as green space, is still being negotiated…
The Tilcon quarry has been closed since 2012. The project would need DEC approval to move forward.
