Suez: Take Care of Your Water Pipes as the Weather Gets Colder

As the weather turns colder, SUEZ New York has several tips to help keep your pipes in tip-top shape, so they don’t freeze and cause damage to your home. SUEZ New York’s Director of External Affairs Bill Madden says outdoor garden hoses should be drained and disconnected to keep outdoor faucets and pipes from breaking…

If you have had problems in the past, Suez suggests keeping a trickle of water running from the highest faucet during frigid weather. You’ll be billed for that water, but it may help prevent costly plumbing repairs. For more winter tips from SUEZ, click here.
