SUEZ New York Offers Tips to Avoid Frozen Pipes

As the weather turns colder, SUEZ New York has several tips to help keep your pipes in tip-top shape, so they don’t freeze and cause damage to your home. SUEZ New York’s Director of External Affairs Bill Madden says you should disconnect and drain any outdoor garden hoses to keep outdoor faucets and pipes from breaking…

Madden also says snowbirds shouldn’t turn their heat off entirely while they’re away, but keep it as low as you can to give the pipes some warmth. You don’t want to return to a flooded basement. For more winter tips from SUEZ, click here.
