The Stony Point Seals’ 25th annual Super Plunge is being held on Sunday. They’ll be raising money for two children with various health issues. Rockland County Sheriff Lou Falco says while hundreds will take to the chilly waters of the Hudson River, he’ll be supervising the scene from dry land and thankfully it won’t be that cold…
Funds raised will go to five year-old Elijah Torres, who has a rare neurological disease called Bainbridge-Ropers Syndrome, and three year-old Kayden Germosen, who suffers with under-developed lungs and chronic renal failure. The event gets underway Sunday at 10am at the Grassy Point Seawall, the plunge itself starts at noon. For more information visit StonyPointSeals.com.
