Stony Point Residents Could Vote on Patriot Hills / Letchworth Sale and Project

March 27, 2020 by helpdesk1

Stony Point residents could be voting on the future of the Patriot Hills golf course and a project the town board wants to put on 25 acres of former Letchworth Village property. Supervisor Jim Monaghan says the project, which would maintain the golf course and could consist of a hotel, a conference center, retail and a 55-and-older community on the site, has overwhelming support…

George Potanovic is the co-founder of the Stony Point Action Committee for the Environment, and after he and others collected more than 500 signatures, he wants to see the project’s details and then have it put up for a vote…

It’s not clear when the vote could be held. The town board approved the sale of the golf course and 25 acres of the former Letchworth Village property last month.
