Stony Point PBA Hosts 11th Annual Blood Drive in Memory of Hit-and-Run Victim

February 20, 2020 by helpdesk1

A blood drive is being held next week in Stony Point in honor of a hit-and-run victim whose killer has not yet been found in nearly 11 years. Stony Point Police sergeant John Wood says the Stony Point PBA is holding its 11th annual blood drive in memory of Jimmy McNicholas, who was killed on May 31st, 2009, around 1:15am on North Middletown Road in Pearl River…

Stony Point supervisor Jim Monaghan says Jimmy went to Saint Gregory’s elementary school…

Orangetown police told the Journal News last year they were getting close on the case but hadn’t been able to crack it just yet. The blood drive is being held Monday, February 24th from 3:30 to 8pm at the Rho Building on 5 Clubhouse Lane. For more information call Sergeant Wood at 845-786-2422 or send an email to him.
