State-Run COVID Testing Site in Stony Point Slated to Close March First

February 24, 2022 by Jeff Lewis

The state-run COVID testing site in Stony Point is expected to close next week. Supervisor Jim Monaghan says if you want to get tested there, now is the time…

The site is slated to close on Tuesday, March first. Meanwhile, the number of COVID deaths in Rockland since the last report last week is up while hospitalizations and total cases are both down, that’s based on Wednesday’s update by the county health department, and that’s been the trend for the past month or so. We’ve got 1,155 fatalities due to COVID, that’s up nine. We’ve got 11 hospitalized with coronavirus, that’s down eight, and the total number of active cases is at 538, down 333.
