Spring Valley’s Mayor was caught on video cursing and yelling at a State Department of Transportation road crew over the weekend as they were doing repairs near Route 45 and Funston Avenue. A state DOT spokesman told the Journal News they reached out to the village and police department about their plans for the project last week. We reached out to Mayor Simon for comment but did not hear back.
