Spot a Pothole in Ramapo? Let ‘Em Know

January 3, 2019 by helpdesk1

They can’t do them all at once, but if you want the town of Ramapo to consider fixing your roadway, it’s best to at least bring it to their attention. Ramapo highway superintendent Fred Brinn told “The Morning Show” last week that potholes are filled as-needed, but full repaving is done partially based on budgetary constraints…

A caller had suggested the eastern portion of town hasn’t gotten the attention it deserves…

Route 45 is a state road so that would fall under the state’s responsibility. Brinn said paving season ideally is springtime when temperatures are consistently above 50 degrees. If you want to alert the town to your street, just call 845-357-0903 for the Ramapo Highway Department, or you can send a Tweet to the “Ramapo Pothole Alert” – that’s “@Ramapo_Pothole.”
