South Nyack Files Lawsuit Against Nyack College’s New Owner, Will Hold First Village Dissolution Meeting Thursday Night

March 4, 2021 by helpdesk1

The first public information meeting on the dissolution of the village of South Nyack is being held tonight at 7pm. Orangetown supervisor Teresa Kenny is on the steering committee working on the dissolution plan…

Residents voted last December to dissolve the village. Click here for the Zoom meeting details.

Meanwhile, The Journal News reports the yeshiva that spent over $45 million for Nyack College has already begun using several campus buildings despite safety violations. They also allegedly lack village permits and safety inspections. A lawsuit has been filed in state Supreme Court by South Nyack against Yeshiva Viznitz of Ramapo.
