See What it’s Like to be an Earth Scientist at the Lamont-Doherty Open House Saturday

October 4, 2019 by helpdesk1

Tomorrow you can check out what it’s like to be in a world-class earth observatory and study earth sciences, including geology, meteorology and seismology, right here in Rockland County. Columbia University’s Lamont–Doherty Earth Observatory is holding its annual Open House on its Palisades campus on Route 9W. Marie DeNoia Aronsohn is with Lamont-Doherty, and says there is great history behind the open house…

You can get your earth science on at the Lamont-Doherty open house tomorrow from 10 am to 4 pm. It is free but there is a suggested $5 donation. For more information and to register, click here.
