Rockland’s Five Towns, Legislature, Collecting Items to Send to Ukraine

March 9, 2022 by Jeff Lewis

Rockland’s five towns are collecting supplies to send to Ukraine as part of a unified relief effort. Ramapo supervisor Michael Specht says they need things like first-aid kits, alcohol wipes, blankets, canned foods and more…

Each town hall has a collection box in which you can drop off your items (the image below is specific for Orangetown but it is the same for each town). You can also bring items to the Rockland County Legislature’s offices in New City. They are collecting specifically the following items: Flashlights and batteries; first aid kits; face masks; hand sanitizer; diapers; soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, dental floss, deodorant, shampoo, and other personal items. They are NOT collecting food, clothing, or toys.
