Rockland Town Supervisors Look to State to Make Improvements to Roads

May 16, 2019 by helpdesk1

Two Rockland town supervisors are hoping the state can take a look at
improving safety issues on two New York roadways. Clarkstown supervisor
George Hoehmann says Routes 303 and 304 in his town, where there have been nine fatalities in the last few years, need lots of work…

Orangetown supervisor Chris Day says while Route 304 is less of an issue
in his town, Route 303 is among those that could use some improvement…

Among the improvements Clarkstown officials would like to see: more
turning lanes and traffic signals, improved lighting, and better
sidewalks.
