A public hearing is being held tonight on the raises recently passed in the 2020 Rockland County budget. Legislators, the county executive, the county clerk, the sheriff and others were given salary boosts in the spending plan. And that was the legislature’s minority leader Lon Hofstein. The county executive signed off on the $730 million spending plan earlier this month. The hearing is being held in the legislative chambers at the county office building in New City tonight at 7pm.
