Rockland Marks 18th Anniversary of 2001 Terror Attacks

Services were held around the county yesterday to commemorate the 18th anniversary of the 2001 terror attacks on New York and Washington DC. Hundreds turned out for the ceremony in Orangetown, and supervisor Chris Day lamented the days of civility and unity we experienced on September 12th 2001 no longer exist…

And that was Pastor Lena Warren of Good Shepherd Church in Pearl River and Rabbi Craig Scheff of the Orangetown Jewish Center in Orangeburg. Rockland County Sheriff Lou Falco was a patrol lieutenant that day, and remembers it well …

Sheriff Falco continues to urge residents to help be their eyes and ears, so if you see something, say something.
