Rockland Health Department and Spring Valley NAACP to Host Vaccination Event at MLK Center Friday

April 28, 2021 by helpdesk1

The Rockland County Department of Health and the Spring Valley NAACP are hosting a Moderna COVID-19 vaccination event at the Martin Luther King Center on Bethune Boulevard this Friday. Spring Valley leads Rockland communities with the highest number of active COVID cases, it also has among the lowest percentage of residents to have gotten their first shot, so Rockland County Executive Ed Day says it’s important to bring the vaccine to those communities that need it most…

The event is open to New York residents 18 and older getting their first shot. To schedule your appointment, call the Rockland COVID Call Center at 845-238-1956. Walk-ins are also welcome and will be registered onsite. You can register online, just click here.

COVID-19 by the numbers now, here in Rockland, three days in a row with no fatalities, were still at 949. We’ve got 20 hospitalized confirmed with coronavirus, and 733 active cases. Our total case count is 46,149, that’s 36 more than Tuesday.
