Rockland DA to Seek New Indictment Against Alleged Monsey Hanukkah Attacker

March 31, 2020 by helpdesk1

Rockland’s District Attorney says he’ll move as swiftly as possible to get a new indictment against the Greenwood Lake man, 38 year-old Grafton Thomas, charged with the Monsey Hanukkah attack from December. That’s because Chief of Detectives Peter Walker says, one of the stabbing victims, 72 year-old Josef Neumann, died of his injuries Sunday night…

Walker says the process could be held up due to the COVID-19 situation. Thomas is charged by the feds and Rockland authorities in the attack. A Rockland judge still has to determine if Thomas is fit for trial, while his attorney claims he is not.
