There’s no end in sight to asylum-seekers coming into the country, that’s according to one local lawmaker. Many are coming to New York City, which is begging the feds for help to care for the thousands that continue to arrive daily. Late last week New York City Mayor Eric Adams said the city is going through an “unprecedented state of emergency,” estimating it would cost the city $12 billion over the next three years to house and support the tens of thousands of migrants expected in that same time period.
