Report: Racial Profiling Inquiry into Ramapo Police Incident with Stony Point Minister Called “Unfounded and Unsubstantiated”

July 29, 2020 by helpdesk1

Ramapo Police say an inquiry into a Stony Point minister’s racial profiling complaint is unfounded and unsubstantiated. That’s according to the Journal News, which reported 66 year-old C. Thomas Carson of Hillcrest was found to have been properly questioned by a Ramapo police officer in front of his home last month. Carson reportedly could have been issued a summons for kicking refuse into a sewer, but he said he was simply checking his lights. Carson told the Journal News he’s planning to discuss the situation further with elected officials and the NAACP.
