The pilot of the Titan submersible that imploded before reaching the wreckage of the Titanic last week was piloted by a man who lived right here in the Hudson Valley. According to MidHudsonNews.com, 77 year-old Paul-Henri Nargeolet moved in January last year from Connecticut to Holmes, located in Dutchess County. Also known as “Mr. Titanic,” Nargeolet had reportedly made more than 35 dives and exploratory trips to the Titanic site over the years.
