August 24, 2022 by Jeff Lewis

A fire that is believed to have been started thanks to an unattended campfire in Harriman State Park last week is now reportedly contained. That’s according to DailyVoice.com, which says the fire covered over 12 acres before being contained. The blaze torched parts of the park in Orange and Rockland counties, specifically the town of Ramapo, starting on Monday last week. No reports of any injuries.
