Downey faces criminal cases from the U.S. Attorney’s Office and Rockland’s D-A, following his arrest earlier this month. The 47 year-old has been employed by the town since 2007. He was elected to the Airmont Village Board in March 2019. We’ve reached out for comment, but we have not heard back.
