May 4, 2020 by helpdesk1

Ramapo police have had a great level of cooperation among its residents when issues of social distancing or larger gatherings have come up, though in some instances they have had to take action. As of last week the Rockland Health Department had reportedly issued 13 violations since enforcement began in March, all in the town of Ramapo. That’s out of 468 complaints, with nearly 300 of them coming from Ramapo. Violations of county and state laws carry fines of $2,000.
