Ramapo residents are being warned to be on the lookout for bears. Supervisor Mike Specht says they’ve gotten several reports of bear sightings lately. The town suggests securing your garbage, don’t put it outside until before your scheduled pickup, don’t feed pets outside, and don’t place meat or bones in compost piles.
