UPDATE: 9:10am RPD Investigators believe the suspect has fled the area. They are utilizing Rockland County Police Academy recruits to assist with an area search for evidence. The investigation is ongoing.
Original Post: Northbrook Road between East Eckerson and Sherman Drive in Spring Valley is closed as police are investigating a murder in a home there. Ramapo Police say they have identified a suspect and are looking for him right now.
