Also up for consideration is the future of the Saddle River Pool, which permanently closed in 2023 after it was determined that the overwhelming majority of the pool’s visitors were from out-of-town, and it didn’t pay to keep it open. Ideas have ranged from turning the area into a playground, a park, or a mini-golf course.
