Ramapo: Ballpark Lost Nearly $500K in 2018; 2019 Losses Likely to be Less

The ballpark in Pomona continues to be a drain on resources in Ramapo, but it looks like it’ll be less of a drain this year. Ramapo supervisor Michael Specht says the stadium lost around $495,000 in 2018…

And that’s the forecast for 2019. The Boulders’ V-P of Business Development Seth Cantor is proud the Rockland Boulders baseball team that plays there is entering its tenth season next year…

The town is still waiting for a final report from a consultant who studied the ballpark and will be suggesting ways more money can be made from it. The park opened on June 16th, 2011.
