Pre-K Funding and Congestion Pricing Could Hold up NYS Budget Passage

New York State’s budget is due in less than three weeks and it may not pass on time. Rockland Assemblyman Ken Zebrowski told “The Morning Show” yesterday funding for pre-Kindergarten in school districts outside the city and congestion pricing are big sticking points…

Some feel congestion pricing model on those who go into downtown Manhattan is necessary to fund the MTA and ease gridlock. Mayor Bill DeBlasio and Governor Andrew Cuomo are among congestion pricing’s big supporters. Cuomo says he won’t sign a budget that doesn’t have a congestion pricing or toll plan…

Cuomo says also won’t sign the budget without a permanent property tax cap, criminal justice system reform, and ethics reform.
