With the Boulders on the road tomorrow night, you might want to head to Pomona for the annual NYPD versus FDNY “Never Forget Heroes Baseball Classic” at Palisades Credit Union Park. Former Boulders VP Seth Cantor says the game is held in memory of those who made the ultimate sacrifice responding to the World Trade Center attack…
Proceeds from the game go to NYPD and FDNY teams, as well as the Widows and Children’s Fund and the Stephen Siller “Tunnel to Towers” Foundation. Tickets can be purchased at the Boulders’ website, www.NYBoulders.com. The game is tomorrow night, first pitch is 6:30 pm, but the gates open at 4:30, featuring pre-game entertainment by a local band, The Narrowbacks.
