If you were looking to get a passport in the near future you don’t want to put it off much longer, as prices are going up on Monday. Rockland County Clerk Donna Silberman says the U.S. Department of State just announced a fee increase of $20 per passport book…
The costs to overnight mail passport applications through the U.S. Postal Service are also on the rise. Silberman says her office will make every possible effort to help those who want to get their applications in by Friday. You can call the County Clerk at 845-638-5075 to make a passport appointment. For more information visit the County Clerk’s page on the county’s website, RocklandGov.com. If you don’t like the new fees, Silberman suggests contacting Senators Chuck Schumer or Kirsten Gillibrand or Congressman Mondaire Jones.
