Palisades Center Re-launches Mall Walking Program, Mall to be Closed Thanksgiving Day

November 6, 2020 by helpdesk1

Palisades Center in West Nyack re-launched its mall walking program last week. Rockland’s advocate for the disabled, BRIDGES, opened an office there a few months ago, and their executive director Carlos Martinez encourages those with disabilities, veterans and senior citizens to participate and get some exercise…

Palisades Center GM Darrin Houseman says participants get special perks for being part of the program…

For more information about the Walking Program visit their website, where in the coming weeks you’ll be able to access special walking maps and other materials to help track mileage and learn how to combine healthy living, eating and exercise. The program is free of charge and open to the public as early as 7:00 AM every day of the week. Palisades Center also announced they would be closed, for the first time, on Thanksgiving Day.
