July 10, 2020 by helpdesk1

Palisades Center opens today after getting the go-ahead from the governor Wednesday. There will be on-property retail, dining and eligible entertainment starting at 11am until 7pm. Palisades Center says they’ve made significant changes to their safety and sanitizing policies. They’ve also enlisted the help of various celebrities who have safe-shopping tips, including comedian Bob Saget, actress Lindsey Lohan, actor Chuck Norris, and former N-SYNC band member, Lance Bass…

Rockland County Legislature minority leader Lon Hofstein says it’s great the mall is now opening, but he thinks other establishments such as movie theaters and bowling alleys should be able to open as well…

Palisades Center will operate under modified hours of operation, Monday – Saturday, 11am to 7pm and Sunday 11am to 6pm. Some venues in the mall may have different operating hours.

The state says we’ve got 13,683 reported cases, four more than yesterday, and the Rockland Health Department confirms 669 fatalities here in the county, just one since last Tuesday.
