The new owners of the Nyack College campus are continuing to make repairs to buildings that have code violations, while at the same time they may be trying to sell the property to someone else. Nearly two years ago the village of South Nyack filed a lawsuit against the Yeshiva claiming they had started using the buildings without getting the necessary permits and inspections. The Yeshiva had asked the courts to have the suit dismissed, claiming the village targeted them based on their religion. The town and congregation have reportedly been working on those issues in mediation.
