The owner and executive director of a New City consumer products testing company has been charged with wire fraud and other charges in connection a scheme to defraud his customers by reporting false laboratory test results. In a statement, the Justice Department says 69 year-old Gabriel Letizia of AMA Laboratories was arrested and arraigned Friday afternoon in White Plains federal court. They accuse him of faking test results over a 30-year period since 1987. He pleaded not guilty. He faces a maximum of 20 years in prison.
