Of the 5,064 polio vaccines given out so far, 77 percent went to kids four years old and younger, and nearly 14 percent went to those age five to 18. Just nine percent have gone to those 19 and older. Anyone who needs assistance scheduling an appointment to get the vaccine can call the county Department of Health at 845-238-1956.
