The town of Orangetown is calling on the Thruway to abandon plans to raise tolls on the new Tappan Zee Bridge. Orangetown Supervisor Chris Day says the board unanimously passed a resolution asking the Thruway Toll Advisory Panel to find another way to pay for the bridge, but if they go the higher tolls route, they should give Rockland and Westchester commuters a break…
