7,000 graves in the cemetery at the United States Military Academy at West Point were decorated with wreaths on Saturday as a tribute to the sacrifices made by U.S soldiers. “Wreaths Across America” day is December 17th. West Point’s cemetery is just one of nearly 13,400 locations across the nation that is participating in the wreath-laying program. Nearly one-quarter of a million wreaths are needed to cover the graves at Arlington National Cemetery.
