Meanwhile, Reuters reports that a bi-partisan group of senators say they’ve reached an agreement on a framework for gun safety legislation, which could lead to the first significant new U.S. gun law in decades. The country has seemingly been plagued by many mass-shootings lately, including one at a Buffalo supermarket and a Texas Elementary school. Both of those incidents together took 31 lives, most of them elementary school children.
