After just one year on the job, the superintendent of the Nyack School District has resigned. The board of education accepted Dr. Eudes Budhai’s resignation at a special meeting Thursday afternoon. In a statement posted to the school district’s website, the board said the separation was mutual and wished him well in future endeavors. The district’s assistant superintendent of curriculum and instruction, Lizzette Ruiz-Giovinazzi, will serve as acting superintendent until the district finds someone new for the top job.
