NY Tax Collections Rise, but Economic Damage Remains

New York’s updated financial plan shows the state’s economy has been recovering better than anticipated, with personal income tax collections increasing $1.6 billion annually. COVID-19 by the numbers now, here in Rockland, we lost seven more to COVID, the total is 879. We’ve got 47 hospitalized confirmed with coronavirus, and 1,372 active cases. Our total case count is 37,674, that’s 354 more than Monday.
